Scholars Who Endorse Us

“As Muslims, we often think that our community is beyond many of the everyday problems that others are grappling with. As a result, we fail to develop the resources that can assist Muslims who are struggling with very serious problems. One of these problems relates to mental health. Many Muslims are dealing with serious mental health issues, such as depression, but are left to suffer, untreated, in silence. This situation oftentimes has devastating personal and social consequences. For this reason, I cannot begin to express how important the fledgling work of Mental Health 4 Muslims is. This initiative is long overdue and it is my hope that it receives a good reception and generous support from our community.” – Imam Zaid Shakir (www.newislamicdirections.com)

“MH4M is a pioneer service that presents critical information on mental health issues with a tailored understanding for Muslims in the West.” – Imam Suhaib Webb (www.suhaibwebb.com)

“MH4M is offering a unique and much needed service to the Muslim ummah in the west. Combining traditional wisdoms of Islam with modern Psychology, it is truly something that every Muslim can benefit from, especially young Muslims.” – Imam Tahir Anwar (www.imamtahir.com)

“The MH4M blog addresses key issues affecting Muslim individuals and communities in a practical, relevant, spiritually-informed, and insightful manner. Highly recommended, Masha’ Allah.”  - Shaykh Faraz Rabbani, Educational Director, SeekersGuidance (www.SeekersGuidance.org)

“MentalHealth4Muslims is long overdue and provides a critical space in our community where Muslims can speak openly and frankly about mental health issues with the guidance of the Qur’an and Sunnah to shine a light on these often taboo subjects.”- Sister Ameena Jandali, Founding Member & Content Director of Islamic Networks Group (www.ing.org)

“If you’re looking for a blog that captivates your interest in current events, yet inspires you to look within your own self in order to strive for betterment, MH4M is the site for you! Making Islam “real” in our day to day life, MH4M hits upon hot topics of the day and cleverly brings it home using knowledge of the self [psychology] and knowledge of the soul [tazkiya]. I would highly recommend it for both Muslims and non in America and abroad.” – Ustadha Shamira Chothia Ahmed, Co-founder and teacher, The Rahmah Foundation (www.therahmahfoundation.org)

if those scholars endorse you their great shaykhs and teachers in turn endorse you
those shaykhs have learned fromother teachers and knowledge was passed upon them form others in golden chain of transmission until our Beloved PROPHET MUHAMMED ( SALLA LLAHU ALAHY WA SALLAM)
so in the end if they endorse you Our RASOOLALLAH (SALLA ALLAHU ALAHY WA SALLAM) insciallah endorses you
is in the sunnah of the BELOVED OF ALLAH (SALLA ALLAHU ALAHY WA SALLAM) giving consuelling even in times of extreme fear and anguish: for example at the time when HE (SALLA ALLAHU ALAHY WA SALLAM ) WAS IN THE CAVE WITH ABU BAKR (MAY ALLAH REWARD HIM) and he was fearing the kuffar might find them
and RASOOLALLAH (SALLA ALLAHU ALAHY WA SALLAM) REASSURED HIM AND EASED HIS FEARS SAYING : Allah will take care of us THERS IS NO TIME WHEN TWO PEOPLE GET TOGHETER FISABILILLAH THAT Allah is the third of them , AND THEN A DOVE LAID HIS EGGS IN THE NEST NEARBY AND A SPIDER COBBED HIS WEB AROUND THE ENTRANCE DECEIVING THE QURAISH AND SAVING IN THIS WAYS THOSE TWO MAGNIFICENT AND BLESSED MEN FROM THAT ENORMOUS DANGER.
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR WEBSITE

I have asked so often were is the help in our community for addiction and divorce issues and depression? Thank you for stepping up.
